Welcome to ScienceGuyInATie.com, Mr. Bradley's EduBlog for his science classes. You are about to start an exciting and interesting learning experience. Labs, activities, projects, biology, chemistry and physics taught by a teacher who listens to you, who believes in you, who knows you can handle life's situations and lastly who cares for you.

Mr. Bradley's teaching philosophy is summed up with this Chinese proverb......
I hear it I forget.
I see it I remember.
I do it I understand.

This website, www.ScienceGuyInATie.com has all the information that you will need outside of the lab room. There are links to homework, newsletter which comes out Friday, and podcasts as well as other cool and interesting items.

Scroll down the Science Guy In A Tie EduBlog and on the right side you will find all the important links.

I am Mr. Bradley and I am your teacher. I love teaching, I love science and I strive to move your education forward.

Parents; Parents/Guardians, you are invited! You are invited into my lab room anytime. No appointment needed. Just check in at the General Office, get a "Hello, my name is sticker," and join the science happenings. The odds are that we will be doing a lab and its great to watch your child work and figure things out. My only request is that you bring food to share- not really, you are welcome anytime, but do check out my Wish List

Grades are posted on PowerSchool on Friday's.

Expectations; These are the general guidelines of how I run my class.

Homework - 80% of your grade in Science is based on Labs and HW. You are in charge of your grade in this class.

Make-Up Policy- if student misses an assignment and the make-up session, remember you have one week to complete an assignment then see the make-up policy.

2CNs; Your success in Science depends on doing your Two-Column Notes (2CNs). I hope you make a good choice and complete them as labs are tied to the 2CNs homework which is completed at home.

I look forward to an exciting year of learning. Remember my class motto, Effort=Success. The one doing the work is the one doing the learning.... and of course "Do your homework, DO IT!"
Regards,
Mr. Bradley
